CALLING ALL STEM MAJORS, 3D ARTISTS, PLUSH ARTISTS, AND PROGRAMMERS!

The technology to build our glorious robowaifus is here, but it is up to us to design them and over come the major technical challenges. I've know we have STEM majors that browse this site >>95557 → and we definitely have the autism for this.

This is a thread to discuss waifu design problems, solutions, proposals and questions. I'll start us off with a few questions.

>How large should our waifubots be?

>What materials should we use?

>What are the best power sources for our waifubots?

>How do we prevent microbes from building up in and on the waifubot?

>How will we repair them if they are damaged?

For the body material I was thinking a silicone impregnated fabric because it is a lot cheaper than silicone, it feels pretty much the same, and microbes do not like silicon. For the skin maybe we could use vegetable silk or sabra. They both feel like silk and they are cheaper. We might need to coat them in something to prevent microbes from building up though.

We could sell them on the site's store and many of the same materials and designs used here could be used for other sexbots. Maybe we could market to furries. Say what you want about them but these fuckers pay hundreds of dollars for commission, how much would they pay for sexbots?

Actual size of Little Pony?

Lithium-ion batteries?

Whatever >>100597 saying is….

Dunno…

The most simple way?

>How large should our waifubots be?
As big as a big dog i guess

>What materials should we use?

A fucking lot

>What are the best power sources for our waifubots?

Well obviously, electricity.
There's a new kind of battery that takes advantage of grapheno to charge up in five seconds, problem is, its expensive and it doesn't hold as much charge as a lithium battery, yet it can be recharged up to 100% more times whitout any notticeable performance loss.

>How do we prevent microbes from building up in and on the waifubot?

Good materials and some disinfectant, obviously we should program her to take care of herself if we do make this.

>How will we repair them if they are damaged?

Scientist are working on a new plastic that can repair itself whitin 24 hours applying moderate ammount of heat.

Making this robot is the easy thing, boston dynamics has been working on robots for quite a while now.
The real question is, how do we make the A.I. good enough?

I guess this brings up a new and very important question: How much would you all be willing to spend on a robowaifu?

I got $10K in the bank and can cash out some investments. I could also take a large loan because of my current revenue streams and credit history. not that it matters because this project probably won't get off the ground now let alone here

This is really the hard part imo. Personally I think if we're serious about this we should initially focus on creating an AI that exists only as software, maybe a chatbot of some sort, and worry about putting it into an actual robot once we've got that part figured out. It would be a more practical starting point too because it wouldn't involve purchasing physical materials, which will probably end up being fairly expensive if we want to do it right. We could find out what would have happened with Tay (F).

Also is anyone else laughing their ass off at the idea of a little robotic Sweetie Belle like in OP's pic wandering around their house talking about how terrible the Jews are?

I'd say between $500 and $2500 would be a realistic price.

That's probably the best way forward tbh. If anons can break a chat bot they can build a chat bot. The bot may turn out to be slightly autistic, but that's not too bad right?

For a halfway decent ROI the price would have to be between $10K-$100K. Even if tech is getting better and cheaper, expect to take a new car loan out on a fairly decent bot.

this looks nice and all, but unless someone is able to program a working engine and AI for this thing, this is just a fancy, expensive piece of plastic toy. Also how is one supposed to fuck it?

This thing only costs like $100. The sexbot doesn't need to have super realistic movements. Not like we would have a lot of competition.

Doing so would compromise the design so it probably won't work. Besides, would you really want to fuck that thing? It was made cheaply in China, and would probably give you lead poisoning.

That would be cute af.
I think we have to approach this idea of an ai I'm a different way than most programmers just trying to make the thing learn from.the user and make sense. People are stupid, you ai will turn stupid if people teach it things.
We should make a logic system for the ai I'm which she bases herself to come up with responses.
We would need to make her remember things but we will also need to make her "know" what things mean.

Now of course, programming something to actually think it's hard because it will get full of bugs and little hidden problems.

Getting deeper into this A.I. stuff, we have to understand how the human brain woks, so, we do things based on how we feel, and we feel based on what we know and what we need.
It all comes down to some basic instincts that are fear, hunger, sex and boredoom.
We would have to make this A.I. get bored, archieving this would require us to emulate boredoom thanks to a lot of variables taking into account how long has it been since she did something new, how long has she been doing something, how much does she enjoy doing X and what else is there to do.
For these variables to work it would depend on the variables of sex drive and hunger, the A.I. cannot know whenever she likes something or not if she does not have the need for it….

You know what, you made me close my fucking game, im going to work on this shit right now and stop exposing my ideas here.

It's completely within the realm of possibility to solicit $100k on kickstarter for a pony bot.

I will be sure to check on that tomorrow, i have work so i will sleep.
I already wrote 6 pages of theory in how the programmation should exactly work and what kind of algorythm it would need.
If that group has any coders that would be really good so they can check everything makes sense, its been years since i touch code.

You need something entirely different, OP. 3D artists are not CAD Designers. Even among those people, this is complex shit.
