https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/live-blog/-trump-tariffs-ruling-supreme-court-live-updates-rcna252655The supreme court has ruled 6-3 that Trump's emergency tarrifs are unconstitutional. The tariffs place will be repealed. Looks like American protectionism has been struck down early.
They definitely panicked at trump's business attitudes. In isolation, I get that giving the prez power to affect the entire Union's economy on a whim is a dangerous precedent. That said, it makes America alarmingly slow to respond to indirect trade warfare.
Looks like trump will be forced to get more creative to maintain these tariffs. And as a consequence, more media circusing by democrats cuz they are genuinely spiteful demons at this point.
Some 8 hours later, turns out he did get creative, and the circusing is currently ongoing, and the leftwing is being demonic creatures as usual.
Guess it was a nothingburger. lol
>>403386everything trump has done has been a nothingburger this term. when has he done anything of worth?
>>403399When do "presidents" really do anything? They're appointed by some specific non-electible groups years, decades in advance. And then tha people are given the illusion of choice with the votes and all, which are never real. It's incredibly easy to make it look like there's a struggle in that regard, whereas there was never any.
Remember that funny photo with young Merkel and the other 2 girls, all 3 of them ending up with "high" positions in 3 separate countries?
Or remember that weird little thing about Trump's father and him selling his entire (existing and future) family over to kikes for "power" and "wealth"? Before Donald was even born?
You know, with little details like that being public knowledge, I simply don't understand how can any-fucking-one discuss anything "political" with a serious face. It's all bullshit to the core anyway. Theatrics and nothing but. Waste of attention.
>>403399ya'll act like you never seen an orange person before
jews' shekel on the floor like bush just burst in the door

he's locked in one of jerusalem's basement (ha ha)
i'm not sorry >>403401I'm all for rolling over and dying like a dog too, but sadly I kinda like being alive.
Politics is one of those things where you want to ignore it cuz it's retarded nonsense but actually ignoring it is what makes the nonsense even more retarded. Like, take England for example: those britbongs didn't pay attention, and then suddenly, they woke up to their cities becoming arabian and they got police coming in asking if they said "fag" the wrong way last week on facebook dms.
I guess it's like listening to the weather report on the next county over, some 1-hr drive away: not immediately useful, but knowing is better than not knowing, cuz the sky likes to creep up on you and give surprises.
>>403379>oops everything needs to be thoroughly inspected at ports of entry to ensure no fent>this could take years due to the quantity of shipments>we can fast-track your shipment if you pay no less than 120k USD per container to hire certified inspectors>oops, now we need to inspect your shipment along it's route to ensure you haven't picked up any illegals along the way>that will be another 5k USD per reefer per stop>oops, some of our inspectors weren't doing their jobs correctly, now we have to add in a few more inspection stops, this time 1k USD per stopIt's a matter of national security after all.
But this is America, land of the Jews. So what is good will never happen.
What about that pedophile blackmail scheme that Israel ran?
>>403404>I'm all for rolling over and dying like a dog tooYeah didn't read further since you want to represent my shit in some retarded way you want.
Enjoy eating shit.
>>403409Just woke up to write this. Nicely structured sentence but you get the idea anyway. Fucking scum.
>>403409bro calm down, it's not a gym, don't put pressure on yourself, breath slowly and drink water.
CALM DOWN I'M TELLING YOU!!!
have a cute AJ.
>>403412Appuru Jakku? This cute? At this time of day? Why yes I'll save the pic, thanks.
>>403412No, no, he needs to get the natural chemicals flowing. Emotions do that, I think.
>>403418just stop being at each other's dick, it looks like watching my parent divorce (?) , life is too short to spend it being on anger.
(¿)sometimes I'm not sure if I'm jokingly retarded or retardedly joking. Skimmed the thread, don't see anybody actually talking about updates to this or what the ruling means:
The federal supreme court ruling was if trump could use a law designed for asset seizing during wartime as an emergency, as a way to impose certain kinds of import taxes. Technically the way China is treating USA, we are at war (ask any chinese nationalist), and it was an emergency. Most of those "emergency tariffs" did what they needed to do: bring manufacturing back to USA in a meaningful way. The real-world benefits will take a while as it typically takes quite a few years to spool up a modern manufacturing facility or foundry from scratch.
About half of the tariffs are still in place on the most important things like steel and aluminum. The other thing not mentioned is that a few hours after the supreme court ruling is that the administration imposed another 10% tariff on top of the existing ones utilizing a different presidential power that apparently exists.
don't act retarded, understand what is going on, and don't be retarded.
>>403420In the end, the Supreme Court effectively said:
>if you wanna do your thing, submit through this form, not that formAbsolute pain in the ass, but I suppose it is their job to control the precedents.
