Well I certainly don't have any interest in making you change your DNA. Well I certainly don't have any interest in making you change your DNA. From the start of pandemic I thought lockdowns were stupid because I thought they would cause more economic damage, deaths of despair, societal damage than the virus and I thought the mandates were a bad idea because people shouldn't be forced and forcing them would only embolden antivaxxers. But why prevent others from using this tech? mRNA and DNA vaccines are good candidates for personalized cancer treatments, orphan disease treatments, senolytics even cardiovascular disease. SiRNA looks promising in the fight against alzheimer's. mRNA in particular looks like a good candidate for telomerase therapy. For example: I believe that cancer is the inability to let go of anger to the point at which a person subconsciously starts to wish for its own death, resulting in his own body corrupting itself to the point of death. Cancer, to many people is a wake up call and life presenting them with the ultimate choice: to live or die?
But these are my own beliefs and I do realise I shouldn't project them on others. If others rather use gene editing to edit out all disease, then they must do so. But I do believe that that would be a unfortunate since disease acts like a catalyst for spiritual growth. Take that mechanism away and you may well be on your way to produce a transhumanist abomination that steer further away from the creator each passing breath.
