4cuck now requires anons to wait 15 minutes between posts or verify their emails to post on /pol/. Will this be the end of 4cuck?

It's been like that for a while. The enshittification of 4chinz is a tragedy, the modern age's Roman Empire.

As far as I can tell most of the traffic on /pol/ these days is from bots anyway, so no huge loss.

At this rate, 4chan isn't going to be anonymous for very long. I knew this was coming since the email verification on /biz/.

Good! This will be another nail in the coffin for low attention span Soyjack kiddies who flood 4chan's "srs" boards. Those who want fast realtime discussions with zero proofreading and MEMESMEMESMEMES should stay on :discord:

Those saying the Email verification "de-anonymizes" 4chan are misinterpreting the "anonymous" part in "anonymous imageboard". 4chan is anonymous in the sense that users can't connect eachothers posts to form an opinionated profile on others through it, which would stop them from judging posts for their content alone. "Anonymous" never meant that the staff and software are unable to make a profile on you, because that's necessary for issuing judgement and preventing spam. Newfags these days are so hyped up about being "secure" with everything they do online, with them needing to use 256-bit encypto hashed anonymous PGP text dump sites to write their grocery list. 50,000 YouTube influencers spooking their underage fanbase with ads about VPNs touting them as the only SAFE way to browse the web. They think not only are there gangs of cyberpirates who intercept data and build gangstalking targets from Pepes posted on /b/, but they think THEIR specific Pepes are so interested that someone would want to target THEM specifically. That's why they're mad about Email verification. They're fragile special snowflakes who think just posting on 4Chan puts them on a watchlist.

Let them be afraid. Email verification will only lead to no more paranoid retards, less rapid spam, and fewer bots.

No. They're mad about email verification because 4chan has been working fine as it was for 20 years, and now they're adding extra bells and whistles to it that compromises their anonymity and pressures them to buy pass accounts, while doing absolutely nothing to solve the actual problem of bots and spam.

Email verification ain't gonna stop the schizos and bots, they're the ones mentally ill enough to pay hiro the jew for the privilege of fucking posting. Does hamper spam some, I'll give them that, but considering it's schizos and bots who like spamming, I'd say it's only gonna force these degenerates to get creative.

4chan I will only lurk forever moar. Completely done adding content to that awful site. Nothing ever even happens there anymore except new war videos on catbox.
No insider information anymore.
New organic memes or artwork are very rare.
The site is dead.
Thanks to whoever posted the way to this place.
Kinda concerned, tho, that the pony thing might actually not be a LARP...

Its more power over users for the board and the mods. Now the bans they freely and capriciously throw around take a ridiculous investment of time or another $20 to evade, so don't even irk the mods or jannies, even when they post as normalfags.
Its revenge for all the jannie jokes, desu.

Not degeneracy. Just, well, ... the lolis are easy to explain. I show them to IRL frens, they love them. Women like them.
The feet pictures I don't show to people because I think they might think I'm a little wierd. But at 4chan I came to appreciate nice feet, to look at feet first in a photo. A little girl changed her socks in front of me and without thinking I looked away because it seemed too risque. Thats how 4chan influenced me.
I'm kind of concerned that a year from now I will have folders full of pony content. Dirty ponies. And someone will eventually see them and it won't matter what I say to explain it.

First post here, had to post tits.
Most of my posts were retarded replies to equally retarded threads but thats about all the threads that were there anymore. If they were even halfway humorous I would post something dumb to keep them bumped. But thats just the banter that kept things alive.
Back in the days of research autism I would go and find info. I've started about three threads in my ten years there.
I was banned a few times I can't remember why, maybe off topic.
Lots of times I would try to post and someone else's ban would stop me, as my ISP uses dynamic IP numbers. Thats another problem with the 15 minute rule. It would require dumping cookies to recover from someone elses's ban.
Recently about a week before the 15 minute rule started I got permabanned for posting preteen girls in swimsuits in some of their pedo hate threads. The pedo threads are creepy, a bunch of posts about what they want to do to pedos and how they get the rope and all. Like the friend who hates gays just a bit too much and too loudly, and everyone else quietly knows its an effort to repress his own homosexual urges.
So I posted pictures from swimsuit catalogs of happy, healthy looking kids to troll about how sick these anons were, that they would see images of children in swimsuits as porn. Sure enough, lots of replies but then I got banned for "child models/sexualized images of children".
So I guess there is a rule against child models, which is another matter and I might have evaded the ban and simply not done it again. But I then decided I did not want to even be on a board which is full of people who would see pictures of children as dirty or inappropriate, who would see a child in a swimsuit as sexual. One sickness too far, I did not want that influence around me.

Likely 4chan went down the drain for lack of funding. I believe someone was paying for all those "slide" threads, for artwork and memes, and for people to keep conversations going. Why, IDK, but researchers would study /pol/ and 4chan would be referenced on television.
There was supposedly a lawsuit which showed it to be a Disney operation. Maybe just another news channel trying to influence a certain demographic.
