Yup, I'm trying my best. It's my last year at university, and for sure once I'm done with all the uni work(and I finally fixed my laptop), I'll make my drawings more professional.
I think if it's a mare, someone like Gordafarid could be interesting, or even the scene of Mithra sacrificing the bull (if you want to make it a bit more cross-civilizational).
For a stallion, I'd say the famous portrait of Cyrus the great, Rostam, or even Hassasin(Assassins) could be cool.
