The SFM models are pre-built by someone with more 3D modeling skills than I have. It's possible to edit the models themselves in blender if you want to modify details or whatever, but it's far more trouble to do than it's worth. You basically have to decompile the SFM model into something Blender can understand, and then export it from Blender into something that SFM can understand when you're done. I'm pretty sure there's a Blender plugin that can do both, but again, it's probably a lot more trouble than its worth.

Depends on what you're trying to do with it and how much time you're willing to spend learning it. SFM isn't a program for creating 3D models, you just import existing 3D models that you can pose and animate and so forth. It's kind of an unwieldy program to use at times, and there's an early learning curve, but I'm picking it up quickly enough, so I imagine most other anons could as well.

I've been contemplating throwing together a video tutorial for the aspects of it that I've figured out. I don't consider myself an expert on it by any means, but I had to do a lot of googling and run through different tutorials to figure out what I needed to know, so I figure I could at least save people the trouble of doing all that with a "lewd pony quick start" tutorial. There are plenty of tutorials already out there for how to use SFM specifically for pony content, but I've never found anything that specifically explains using it for porn, so it would probably be a good thing to do.

I have a middle of the road gaming rig I built in 2019 and it runs fine on that, and that other anon >>338546 says he ran it on a 2014 laptop, so I would say probably no, though I probably wouldn't try using it on a Lenovo Thinkpad or anything like that. Main technical issue I've had with it is that it tends to suck up memory when you've been running it for awhile. It also likes to randomly error out and quit, so make sure you save your work frequently.
