As with any debate you lose by the structural failure of your position by opposing party’s information. As such is the philosophy of debate. Here we can have intelectual conversation about fundamental behavior and economic impact. I will start. what rights should people not have? There will always be dissenting oppinions. As a clusterfuck as the anon threads are I don’t see any sense in withholding creative response on individual perception when it comes to social development.

- i Support planned parenthood. Existing life and family infrastructure needs more protection than potential unborn life. That said it should not performed lightly.
- I also support the right to selfeuthanasia aka assisted suicide
- i do not support Christianity or Abrahamic Religions in general, they are antiquated jew bullshit that is holding back society
- i support the death penalty, especially for (but not exclusive to) sexual offenses or outright sexual corruption. I dont believe some things can or should be forgiven. also bullets are cheaper and argueably more mercyful than years of jail
- (most) brown people, jews and communists are not people
- each country should have its own segregated national bank, owned by the state
- the holocaust unironically never happened, but i hope to live to see it happen in my days
- i support eugenics for the purpose of cleansing society of mental and physical illness
- empathy is a privilege reserved for your close and loved ones and not to just about any stranger who thinks hes entitled to it
- about half of the white western population is made up of inredeemable traitors who deserve nothing but a bullet to the forehead
- if the world doesn't get nuked into a desert it will probably get taken over by an asian country
- Water, Electricity, Hospital, Postal Transport and other services required to maintain day to day life should never be owned privately
- i don't believe in """human rights""" since they are (to me) a malicious social construct invented by jews for the purpose of destabilizing western society
- i think its okay to denounce citizenship from enemies of the state, if i support the government and - its dogma.

I'll only answer to points I disagree with or have anything to add

>- i do not support Christianity or Abrahamic Religions in general, they are antiquated jew bullshit that is holding back society

I don't think religious institutions have a place in politics but it works well for strengthening and uniting local communities. I see this sentiment a lot among modern pagans that because the current pope and many high profile individuals from the church are completely cucked we'd be better off completely dismanteling Christianity in the west. I honestly think that's a short sighted and self harming stance, just from a pure tactical standpoint. Jews have subverted most if not major all western institutions, be it politics, the economy, academia or the entertainment industries. Of course they wouldn't just ignore religion. But the church would be the easiest targets to remove jewish subversivion from since it is unlike the other institutions fundamentally traditional and hostile to jewish ideals. Throwing such a relatively easy victory away by completely denouncing Christianity would just gift the jews total control over the main western religion of the last 1000 years. Even if you disagree or dislike Christianity you should see that you would throw away a valuable asset and end up shooting yourself in the foot.

>- i support the death penalty, especially for (but not exclusive to) sexual offenses or outright sexual corruption. I dont believe some things can or should be forgiven. also bullets are cheaper and argueably more mercyful than years of jail

Theoretically I'd agree but seeing how many false rape- and sexual assault accusations get thrown around in our hyper feminist society you'd better make damn sure such laws can't be taken advantage off by subversive powers. Otherwise you would've just given the enemy an easy tool to kill off dissenting voices.

>- about half of the white western population is made up of inredeemable traitors who deserve nothing but a bullet to the forehead

Half seems to be a bit too much. The average citizen doesn't give a shit about politics, they just want to live their lives in peace and be left alone. Even if it means blindly repeating the current political zeitgeist of "racism bad". I'm positive thaPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

People should not have the right to keep their organs after they die. The health of society matters more than the beliefs of a dead man.

Hot damn nice ID.
I'd argue if the person states what they want their organs used for they should be allowed that. If you are a donor they won't try to keep you alive, just long enough to get to the next payer or recipient.

1. Fix yourself, and then others. All else follows. I agree.
2. I agree. I'd recommend mandatory labor if applicable to change their mind. A cool down period depending on a case by case basis. With extreme, and bizarre treatments available.
3. Currently, Christianity even as a puppet is providing resistance to the other dune religions. Later I believe that those religions will fail.
4. >>226552 this.
5. Indeed.
6. I don't trust the state enough, or other people. The Treasury of the 'bank' ought to be able to be exchanged for the currency they provide.
7.
8. Sounds good. Gene editing nearby will be helpful. We just can't lose the flawed genetic code just incase something stupid happens. Don't want to doom everyone because we are too similar that we get wiped out for a variety of reasons.
9. I disagree it's a social contract the implies a returned favor at a later date. In this case understanding the person, and situation. People can't demand empathy, or sympathy.
10. Most people are sheep. They should not be allowed to make changes. Short term ill planned ideas hurt so much. Either they are removed from the gene pool, naturally filtering them out. Or they are related at second class citizens for enacting long term change. The later is doomed to fail after a while. I have made some stupid choices in the past so I should make sure the ideas, and plans I have are not idiotic.
11. Eh… If China doesn't go through it's revolution, and all of Korea fully unites, and has a full military, if Japan has a full military…

>The barrier will be built on private land. Authorities in the El Paso Sector – which provides support for the counties of El Paso and Hudspeth in the state of Texas and the entire state of New Mexico – apprehend 930 people per day, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

>"This is the first time any private organization has built border wall on private land," Kobach told Pete Hegseth, adding that the Army Corps of Engineers had said previously that the strip of land was too rugged for fencing.

>Kobach said plans are in the works to start a second project.

>It came on the heels of a federal judge blocking President Trump from building key sections of his border wall with money secured under his declaration of a national emergency, delivering what may prove a temporary setback on one of his highest priorities.
>U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam Jr.'s order, issued Friday, prevents work from beginning on two of the highest-priority, Pentagon-funded wall projects — one spanning 46 miles in New Mexico and another covering 5 miles in Yuma, Ariz.

Update from WeBuildTheWall

>This week we've been dealing with the International Boundary and Waterway Commission (IBWC) over a gate we installed next to our wall in Sunland Park, NM, free of charge. For about a day the IBWC locked the gate open and then we reached an agreement where they would keep the gate locked at night and only open the gate at intermittent times during the day to allow their employees access to the dam they manage.

>By Friday, our talks with the IBWC had gone so well that IBWC Commissioner Jayne Harkins put out a press release pledging to work together with me and WeBuildTheWall on other projects we are working on along the border. It was all very friendly.

>Everything was great but we continued to get calls from the media about comments made by IBWC PR Rep Lori Kuczmanski making materially false claims and violating the spirit of the cooperation we had made with top IBWC officials. We contacted the IBWC and they told us that they would talk to her and that she would be contacting the media who had quoted her and she would make corrections and retractions.

>On Saturday, when we continued to get calls from reporters asking us to respond to new attacks from Kuczmanski, we asked her to stop. That's when things got crazy!
http://archive.is/7U7x1

>She went on to call me and my team all kinds of childish names including libelous claims about me, Dustin, and WeBuildTheWall. Unfortunately for her, we've got all the proof and I dropped the BOOM on her!

http://archive.is/qZKOR

>Our lawyers have been in touch with the IBWC and have assured us that Kuczmanski's comments to the media and on Twitter DO NOT REPRESENT how they want to proceed with us. We expect that this rogue actor will be looking for work come Monday morning. That's good, because our other projects will be much easier with the cooperation of the IBWC.

There's going to be 26 episodes of Season 9 as far as I know, the next one is episode 13 which broadcasts tomorrow morning. We have a thread on it here https://mlpol.net/mlpol/res/226365.html. I'm not sure when it picks up again but I assume they're just doing the usual business where they air half the season, take a break, then broadcast the remaining episodes. One way or the other though there is definitely at least 12 or 13 more episodes to go after this one.

If you want to catch up on what you missed, this board does a weekly stream of the show where we watch about six episodes and then show the 2017 movie. We do it every Friday starting at 5 pm Pacific time. Unfortunately we're almost done with what exists of Season 9 at the moment, but we just start at the beginning and rewatch the early episodes when we run out of new ones.

I'll also warn you that the general consensus is that S8 and S9 have overall been pretty sub-par, a lot of people don't care for the directions the show has taken. I basically agree, but imo there are some buried gems that still redeem it.

Twilight Sparkle dies at the end of the movie during the fight with the Storm King, when the whirlwind carries her away. A wandering changeling watches it happen, and sees an opportunity to subvert Equestria for the lulz. He transforms himself into Twilight, picks up the discarded staff of whatever, returns to Canterlot and assumes Twilight's role as Princess.

The changeling then decides to undermine society and destroy Equestria from within. "Twilight" announces that >she will be opening a "friendship school" open to "everycreature." Princess Celestia, who plans on retiring soon anyway and leaving control of the nation in the hands of her star pupil, gives her blessing and the school is constructed. Chancellor Neighsay is intelligent enough to see the problems that the influx of diversity would cause, and attempts to shutter the school, but he is shouted down by Twilight's cult of popularity.

Slowly, Equestria is pozzed from within by changelings, dragons, yaks, and other races which begin to migrate in droves and form insular microcommunities that constantly fight amongst each other and make city life unbearable for the native pony population. Crime, which had previously been nearly unheard of in Equestria, is now on the rise. Gangs of yaks rampaging through city streets destroying everything in their path is now a common occurrence. The murder rate in Canterlot quadruples as more and more dragons and zebras begin to flood the city's lower quarters. Changeling pride parades become open displays of wanton degeneracy too depraved even to describe. Griffon-run banks begin offering loans at suspiciously low introductory interest rates, and soon real estate prices in Manehattan skyrocket, even as the quality of its neighborhoods declines. Anypony who speaks out is branded an anti-friendship bigot, although most forward-thinking ponies loudly proclaim their enthusiasm for these welcome changes to what they see as an oppressive and antiquated old order.

Chancellor Neighsay is eventually "deplatformed" after a herd of yaks upset about the unfairness of pony beauty standards stampedes a speech he was attempting to give at Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. After weeks of student protests, Celestia announces that Neighsay has stepped down as chairman of the EEA, and that he will be replaced by somecreature more in line with the organization's current goals. >if you ignore the pop music
It's hard to; most of it is pretty catchy.

Anyway, as far as the consistency of the setting goes, I guess my point is less about the technical composition of it and more about the themes and mood the setting creates, and how that affects the type of story being told. I've never actually sat down and watched the original 1986 My Little Pony cartoon, but from what I gather it was basically a high fantasy setting, which usually resembles a Western medieval world. Faust, as far as I know, watched that show as a child and wanted to build her world along similar lines.

It's not uncommon in fantasy to incorporate elements from other eras of human history and mix them into the setting, for instance there's an old game called Arcana set in a traditional medieval-style fantasy world experiencing a scientific revolution, so the setting is a combination of medieval and Victorian styles. A more recent game called Lost Odyssey does something similar. I'm frankly impressed by your autistic attention to the background details in the show and what you know about the technology required to present them, so I'm willing to concede to you that Equestria is probably intended to be an analog of a European nation with technology comparable to the late 19th to early 20th centuries. However, before I move on, I have a few autistic points of my own I'd like to drop:

>Twilight Sparkle lives in a house filled with books in Canterlot, and then in a library in a rural hamlet upon moving to Ponyville. The vast numbers of books clearly imply the existence of the Printing Press, invented 1439

1439 was technically still the Late Middle Ages, as most historians usually place the end of the medieval period at around 1500. Also, the number of books don't necessarily imply the existence of a printing press, it just implies that a method of mass-producing books exists. Such methods existed prior to the development of the printing press. At the height of Imperial Rome, literacy was common among the upper classes at least, paper (or parchment, or papyrus, or whatever they used exactly) was relatively cheap and plentiful, and the use of slave labor made copying books fast and cheap. They actually had a commercial book industry very similar to ours, in which pop liPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

>In The Mysterious Mare Do Well, we see a Hydroelectric plant (yes, you can see electric coils.). Invented 1881.

Actually there's numerous instances of electricity being used in the series, you can see electric lights and many other modern electrical devices at various points. For instance, while looking up clips from the Foal Free Press episode to get a look at the rotary printing press you mentioned, I noticed there are plainly electric lights hanging from the ceiling in the room where Diamond Tiara gives the CMC their assignments.

Questions about whether or not ponies have reached the tank and chemical warfare stage of civilization is a separate thread topic in itself. I'd be very curious to know what the Great War would look like being fought by ponies. New thread theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5L7GyZeazM

>Pretty much everything in the My Little Pony world is consistent with an Anglo-Saxon civilization with technology levels around the mid-1930s, except they never discovered the internal combustion engine or radio, but also have magic. Everything, that is, except when it comes to music. Musical technology has been the one big area where the writers of the show have chosen to introduce more modern equipment and culture. See The Mane Attraction, Slice of Life, The Saddle Row Review, or the The My Little Pony Movie for where technology associated with musical production seems to be greater than that existing before 1950. It does seem that the writers have disregarded setting in some instances where they wanted to insert pop music.

Don't forget Vinyl's headphones, or more generally, the depiction of her as a modern DJ. She uses a dual turntable and mixing console setup that was originally developed in the 1970s for disco clubs. Most of the time, the series depicts recordPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Actually, I just noticed you specifically point out that there is no evidence of the existence of radio in Equestria, which would make the evolution of any sort of DJ culture even more implausible.

So yeah, if you are new to this here is a brief rundown of what this thread is about and what happened in the last one.
In this thread wannabe writers posts their stories and those stories are then judged accordingly by a jury, which after some thought gives it a score. The Story with the highest score wins. Simple.
In the last thread,>>197973, an anon named Placeholder won with his short story about marines, who probably has never seen the sea, and therefore the abstract and conceptual cup of /MLPOL/ writefagging is currently in the Anonfilly camp. Hopefully, it will end up somewhere else before it becomes too gay. I shudder at the thought of what they might be doing with it.

For the competitors/writers.

This challenge is different from the previous one. Here we won't write short stories but actual novels. This means that both the minimum word count has been increased and the days you have at your disposal has increased. An entry has a minimum length of 10k words and then let's say that you have forty days to write it so the first of May will be our deadline.

There is actually an extra condition for this competition this time around to make it more interesting. The inspiration for it came to me when I was watching some anime review and the e-celeb said something about how the quality for the stories in anime is so low is because they go by a mold which, unless your name carries weight, your story must fit through. Basically, they think that since this kind of story was popular once we can simply rehash it again and again and they don't take their chances with something they don't know will get popular. There is probably a lot one could say about this, and it's totally fine to bring it up in the thread if you like, but the thing that I got stuck on was the underlying idea that quality is held back by this mold.

That is what I want to prove wrong and I am going to use you, unsuspecting sheep, to do it.

The scenario goes like this: You are an aspiring author who along others like you have been called into the headquarters of Netfux's new animation studio, which they own together with Hasbro (yeah, roll with it). They started it because they want a piece of that anime market. They have hired in an editor from A-1 pictures or whatever. You meet him and he tells you what you must write. He, who has been into anime too long, doesn't know that stories for boys doesn't necessarily need to be shPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Hey, just a quick bump to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about doing reviews for this project. I've been holding back since I wasn't sure if people were still finishing up their projects or whatever, but I feel like probably enough time has passed at this point. I'll likely start writing reviews this week sometime, and I'll just review whatever is in here I guess.

>A World War I memorial in the shape of a 40-foot-tall cross can continue to stand on public land in Maryland, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday.

>The justices, in ruling 7-2 in favor of the cross' backers, concluded that the nearly 100-year-old memorial's presence on a grassy highway median doesn't violate the First Amendment's establishment clause, which prohibits the government from favoring one religion over others.

>The case had been closely watched because it involves the place of religious symbols in public life. Defenders of the cross in Bladensburg had argued that a ruling against them could doom of hundreds of war memorials that use crosses to commemorate soldiers who died.

>"The cross is undoubtedly a Christian symbol, but that fact should not blind us to everything else that the Bladensburg Cross has come to represent," Justice Samuel Alito wrote.

>"For some, that monument is a symbolic resting place for ancestors who never returned home. For others, it is a place for the community to gather and honor all veterans and their sacrifices to our Nation. For others still, it is a historical landmark. For many of these people, destroying or defacing the Cross that has stood undisturbed for nearly a century would not be neutral and would not further the ideals of respect and tolerance embodied in the First Amendment. For all these reasons, the Cross does not offend the Constitution," he wrote.
>Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Sonia Sotomayor dissented.

No idea if there is one, and don't see much of a point in establishing one, since it'd hinder creativity, and end in fags arguing until it's overturned and/or changed. The loose idea is similar to anon in Equestria. Could be that an anon was brought to Equestria someway somehow, and then turned into a filly, or was turned into a filly by someone. Could be an anon was a filly upon arrival in Equestria. Really it can be anything you want. Because it's pure fiction
