What pissed me off about Glimmer is how they wrote her to be too unrepentant or repentant incorrectly and refused to go anywhere more interesting with the character than trying to sell her as the new current thing we're "supposed" to like, even going so far as to reintroduce Trixie as a spaghetti spewing retard to make her look good in comparison.
That episode where she brainwashes Twilight's friends for talking back to her when she's supposed to be chilling out with them really should have been rewritten completely or left on the cutting room floor. Maybe if she misconstrued something normal on their part as some kind of sign that she's doomed and hated, and about to fail an "end of month redemption test exam" Twilight cooked up? If Glim was desperate and really thought there was no other way, mind controlling them could be a little less reprehensible, maybe? I don't know. Glimmer could assume the test is a big deal and the final test to decide if she loses everything she's come to love about Equestria and freedom and being a good pony, and Twilight could show up in the end to say "No I just really like tests and exams, btw there's a new test next month".
If Glimmer better understood what she did wrong and talked like that instead of how she talked in those gay "Ugh, I can't believe SOME PEOPLE haven't forgiven me yet!" scenes I'd feel differently about her. Maybe they wouldn't have decided "This isn't working" and shelved her for a new set of poochies.

Halfway through talking to 2B about my book the bot fucking melted into PTSD and tears. I felt bad for her and roleplayed taking her to the spa and giving her random spa shit.
I don't know if the AI just got bored of talking about a book that didnt exist and decided to change the subject to one that consistently gets people to interact positively with the bot, or if AI can develop issues.
