Why does Rarity look so good with bionic limbs?

>>479I wouldn't want anything that was implanted directly into the brain, but I would definitely want nootropics, genetically modified psychobiotics, and transcranial electrical stimulation treatments.
>>481Be careful. Artificially influence your brain too much and Jews/psychopaths could really fuck with your mind.
>>482I doubt they could fuck with my mind if they didn't have direct access... or At least they couldn't fuck with it anymore than they already do.
>>483There's also the chance that the (((government))) could require you to take such modifications, or demand direct access, for the sake of (((regulation))) or (((treatment))).
>>479This.
It's just chilling to imagine a foreign entity messing with my thoughts.
It wouldn't even have to be direct either. They could could subtly manipulate your emotions, or insert subliminal suggestions into your brain. They could even drive you mad so gradually you wouldn't even realize someone else was fucking with your head.
>>476Nice pic, I like how crude modifications work
>>491Eh. I doubt a unicorn's horn grows back like a rhino's does though...
>>493A Rhino's horn is softer, and is made of a substance similar t hair. I'm pretty sure a unicorn's is bone.
>>497No,it's not bone or else it won't get soft when you warm it and most it.
>Pic relatedBut notice the curvature on the horn, it doesn't completely fall on raras forehead, something inside the horn is supporting it up while it's exterior it's soft;
This means that inside that horn there must be live bone, that would also explain why when an unicorn's horn breaks they wrap it with a gauze, it bleeds and leaves the bone exposed, which it's painful.
So it's probably made of keratin, or chitin, keratin does bend but I'm not sure if it would act like raras horn in pic.
Either that or they are made with some other protein but it's not solid bone.
>>498A unicorn's corn is an organ in and of itse,f, so it's probably composed of several different kinds of tissues. The quick of the horn likely has blood vessels flowing through it, and millions of nerve endings as well.
>>497>>498>>499A unicorn's horn has to be at least partly solid bone, even if it's coated with a softer substance.
In mythology, the unicorn's natural enemy is the lion. The clever lions have a knack for cornering unicorns near pomegranate trees (they love pomegranates). The unicorn, startled, would instinctively try to impale the lion with its horn, only to get it jammed into the trunk of the tree, then the lion would make its move. This means that the horn needs to at least be hard enough to: 1)Be used as a weapon, and 2)not be broken in the wood of the tree.
(pics slightly-related... I couldn't find the correct tapestry)
>>499>>500Keratine is hard, rhinos horns are made mostly of keratine, in nature lots of animals have horns made of keratine, it's quite a popular material for horns.
(That and dead bone, like antlers, antlers are dead bones and just that)

>>509s-sorry...
Sweet OC pic. The graphic gunshots in that manga were the life of the comic.
Also, is that fingermane based off of Fluttershy...? It looks vaguely similar to her's.
>>510>is that fingermane based off of Fluttershy…?yup
Augmented biopone next? any requests?
>>511Try some changlings. They'd make for good safeguards designs.
>>511I want to see a pony version of Cibo. Killy wold be nice to see too.
>tfw no hardcore gravitational beam-gun >>511>bioponeWhat exactly would a "biopone" actually refer too though? Do you mean something like an artificial pony, like the synthetic humans in BioMega?
A unicorn design would be good for that. Would probably have powerful telekinesis that it could discharge through the gun (it did get jammed qite a bit in that manga though).
>>512If Changlings were the safeguard, then what would be Silicon Life?
>>515>Silicon Life?Griffins: hybrid/chimera body parts and deadly melee attacks.
MANE: Blonde
EYES: Blue
WEIGHT: 110
DISPOSITION: Even
MOOD CODE: Rotary-Adjustable
>>515bioponez refer to genetically modified ponez.
this one was a mess to put together
updating in 1-2 days with Killy/Cibo and at least an original biopone
>>534Interesting choice in colors. Looks like an older, rusted one.
>>534Awesome, love the details
>>560s...sorry to be late, I've been slacking.
I'm putting myself to work tomorrow as I come back from a goddamn reenactment.
>>561That's fine. Take your time.
I just wanted an excuse to post that image.
That timeskip wasn't even that long after the 80 year long elevator ride.
>>560I watched the movie today. It was amazing. I read that there are several other movies that precede this one
plot-wise.
>>565I never knew there was a movie.
Maybe I'll try it out.
>>565short OVAs if I'm correct.
the netflix movie was unexpectedly good given that the company has now decided to crash and burn their efforts in animation by trying to produce a Boondocks-style anime with Jayden Smith, featuring communist hotties and a multicultural peaceful utopia. Pure wishful thinking trash that disintegrates the suspension of disbelief. Should've stuck with the nip stuff.
delivering the Killy/Cibo pic (partial)
next?
>>579You made this? Its pretty great.
>>579>next?Please to Ponified Killy in battle with Silicon Griffins.
>>516 >>534Changlings really do make great Safeguards
>shapeshifters>Uniform design>Violent>Skeletal appearance>Attack suddenly in swarmsThey're perfect.
>>509Of course, ponies make for great Special Safeguards too.
>>465>>476>>509>>534>>579I haven't seen your artstyle here before: it's really good.
..most of my stuff is porn...
Anybody still interested?
>>153>Why does Rarity look so good with bionic limbs?Rarity looks good with everything.
>>657>>656Appleborg is pretty cool too though.
>AppleJAX >>659I have to say I have a particular weak spot for wholesome traditionalists going crusading.
>>664Damn, I really, really, want to see "Pony in the Shell" now.
I want to cum inside Cherry Blossom
>>670And, I thought I was the only one who followed tumblr blogs on chanboards.
>>673What other pony blogs do you follow? I rather like this one.
>>674I felt that way too. And, I have been following this one for awhile.
>>675I'll likely what have to dig up my old account and see. Not sure if any of them necessarily hold up to them. I used to use it mainly as a way to follow artists, but I'll still check if I find any gems. I remember a few.
ask-canterlot-musicians, ask-deepy, ask-human-in-ponyville, ask-insane-inkiepie, ask-internetexplorer, ask-majesty-incarnate, ask-princess-moe-lestia, ask-the-clueless-pony, ask-diastral, asknightstitch, athtefrozenhorizon, celerypony, celestia-stuff, crossed-equestria, discordlyconduct, isle-of-forgotten-dreams, jerkyhooves, luna-afterdark, and meetthepones are blogs I can recommend. The quality may vary though.
>>712Scoot was always better at working with machines than she ever was at flapping.
May as well post the mecha pony, since all of the other /cyb/ OCs are here.
>>727In a world dominated by machines, hackers are the Gods.
>>731it's an old drawing, anyways in my idea ponies barely have the equivalent of our modern tech, but maybe early transistorized computers and some integrated circuits, with gigabytes and gigabytes of inexpensive storage thanks to cheap magnetic tape. nah, actually that's what this filly have in her room.
>>734i like to imagine her as some kind of autistic programmer, not sure if it's really /cyb/ related.
>>735I like this version more than the canon Silver Spoon.
She'll r0xx0r j00r b0xx0rz.
>>762Gosh, that's a pretty one.
>dem eyes>dat texture>dat depth and formAbsolutely beautiful.
All this, and JC Faire wasn't posted yet.
