Hiding is more about the ability of the site you a visiting over your own ability. In 2008 when I was newly in Japan I still wanted to watch English television. The choice was iPlayer or TV-Catchup. iPlayer was and is still easy to fool. TV-Catchup was virtually impossible on account that some of the people running it had originally set the p2p sites and had hard core knowledge.
