If you really loved birds, you wouldn't clip their wings and keep them locked up in a cage within a drab square room.

Until then, I'm gonna feed them in the city, that's the plan.
But I do get your concern that birds need to fly (and I think you have a point), but there are ways to do that with harnesses and leashes and such (or simple free flying). Though it can be dangerous depending on the type of bird you own, since there are hawks and such out there.
