Sounds interesting.
I might give it a shot.
>>90152I like it. The more quality entertainment we get "to claim" the better. And the message in MLP is a quality message kids should hear and learn.
>sorry if we mad you present your idea to us earlyWe might seriously redpill some kids in the process if parents suddenly forbid them to watch their favourite show for no reason.
>>90153Cool.
>>90155It's alright. I just became so sick of identifying the same problems, and discussing the same solutions that I decided to implement what I saw was a possible solution. That solution being a community project that might be fun.
If the positive responses are anything to go by, I'll start checking possible targets and theorizing the probable permutations this project may make.
>>90159If there is some left wing consumer group or interest group we can start lobbying (putting pressure on) it would probably be the easiest way to get the word out. Also ask others (leftists) via social media to contact them and "express their concern".
We need to time this right and make a bang, get it trending on Twitter, have it a top Google search, etc. We have to have proxy accounts on social media where we multiply our size and reduce blame coming back to us.
I can see this going three ways: it doesn't make an impact (media is more wary after our "It's Okay to be White" success and they might pick their battles more carefully), it spills over and redpills bronies en masse as MLP is boycotted (major victory for us), or it spills over and Hasbro immediately caves in with more lesbians, etc. (our loss, but would still redpill right-leaning bronies through disgust and drive them to our camp).
I've thought about this sort of thing myself and it should have been our plan from the start. We're a small community and so it's necessary to be as well-organized as possible (think of the Tumblr/4Chan war). We need to strike in unison at optimal targets and keep holding on like a bulldog even after accusations are raised. Don't let people forget it.
Also keep in mind that Tumblr bronies will immediately denounce us and make art that parades how "inclusive" and "tolerant" they are. We need counter-art and counter-memes that show their side as the truly intolerant (which they are), and Aryanne and co. as a loveable and friendly community. This will be nothing less than a war of propaganda; one side of the fandom against another.
>>90162One way to win the war, (but no victory is without cost), is to make normies start to use ponies to piss off leftist. Bring ponies to demonstrations. Show them off like mascots of the movement. MLP will become the new Pepe if that is successful, which will be less than optimal, but we will have won the battle of definition. Hasbro can do whatever they want, but it will just be seen as their futile attempt to "win back" what is ours. But again the downside is that MLP will have become Pepe.
>>90152supply pics and suggest targets
>>90168>>90171This project should not be executed today. Too few here are ready for it, and we don't have enough memes or propaganda. We need to rally the troops, maybe even as soon as this weekend and hit them with everything we got. Get the aryanne discord mobilized, and get ourselves ready here. Hell, I have some extra cash, if some good artfags can whip up some stuff quick, I'd finance some commissions.
>>90162This. A small well-organized force at the right time can cause some very vicious damage.
>>90164It'd take time, but it could be doable.
Also, claiming that this was organized by Reddit could prove beneficial. It gives legitimacy while throwing normalfags off our scent. Remeber for now though, keep this quiet. Suprise is on our side. If we lose it, our impact will diminish significantly.
>>90174If we want Reddit to be the target, we need to start posting Aryanne memes there first to establish a background. That way, when journalists do their "research" Reddit will be evidently guilty.
I don't think it should be this weekend. An op of this scale can't be rushed. Better to have it late and well-executed than prompt and botched.
>>90182Agreed. However, a good plan violently executed now is better than the perfect plan executed tomorrow. As soon as the correct organization is done, the operation must commence shortly after.
You're forgetting a big vector: cis white males appropriating ponies is incredibly misognistic.
>>90196That could be a good angle of attack actually. How would that work though?
>>90196I can see the articles now:
"Why white men taking control of a cartoon meant to teach girls they can be whatever they want is problematic & what we can do about it!"
>>90198You're right.
If we were just aiming for femnazi outrage, it would be enough to remind them that this used to "be theirs", and remind them that we're here.
> Bronies create toxic environments to women> It's not safe to like my little pony as a woman> The pink isle safe-space is being invadedHowever, this campaign is about making them call for a ban, so the situation must be "unsalvagable". We must make them believe that the misogny stems form the show, rather than from us.
It should be possible to cherry-pick some stuff from the show. I'm not sure if it will be enough, I know marxists are fond of inductive reasoning, but are they the only ones we're targeting? Carelessness may cause passive bystanders to recognise that it's chimichunga-picking.
The safest way I can see to approach this is "The show was designed to no longer just appeal to girls". This change in the show design, which is sourceable, causes toxic masculinity to invade their safe-space and cannot really be reversed without changing the format.
There are also many instances where the show clearly panders to their fanbase, which is predominantly male, so clearly, the show staff is IN BED WITH THE MISOGNISTS.
Cue:
> The show is made for bronies [vinyl scratch bass cannon or another in-show brony meme.png]Derpy, already having caused marxist outrage in the past, might have another role to play?
All of this needs more brainstorming.
If you want to play with napalm, you might come up with a way to make them believe the show in its current format causes pedophilia.
>>90213encouragement of children to find improper content easily which is almost always made by mid 20's white males is causing an issue of whether white males should even be allowed to like MLP
This will have to be a coordinated attack. Or else it will fizzle out, and we will be ignored.
Organise a day of when to do it,
And who to do it too.
Any Leftist with the blue check will suffice
Id suggest start naming targets.
A good day to attack would be December 17th, the day before Twitter purges all of the "ebil natsees"
I think this has a high chance to backfire, it's mlp and all that stuff.
You just need a leftist with half brain to turn this against us, plus they could just shove it off as the evil right wingers trying to convert their children.
I say, if we want to accomplish this, we could just throw around some pictures of Aryane with a text that sticks out or maybe throw some of our vaporwave art around, you know, subtle things man.
>>90152Following, and intrigued by the idea of using social media in a right-wing blitzkreig,… but I just wanna fug that pone
>>90162>>90174>>90182We should welcome the blow back on us. Stop hiding, cucks!
>>90273but if the blowback happens to reddit, we get the added bonus of watching them squirm under the weight!
>>90309My perspective, perhaps wrong, is we need traffic and attention. I don't believe that to be a risk because of very strong defences. Bringing attention to ourselves is free advertising.
>>90309Also, if we got overrun, who here would not volunteer to protect the board by being a mod as long as needed. We have verifiable posting histories.
I am confused by us assuming we have weak defenses.
>>90310Agreed. Time is required though. How much is questionable, but information must be gathered, memes readied, and troops mustered. Neither the numbers or information required are available to do anything immediately. What we do have now though is organisation, quality, fighting spirit, and surprise. Everyone is expecting the next right wing push to come from 4/pol/ or youtubers like sargon. Using MLP as an attack vector from a website called mlpol.net would be a shock. With at least adequate planning, this surprise attack could be a stunning success that generates laughter years from now. It doesn't have to be perfect, but if unprepared the results will be mediocre.
>>90311The defences are not weak. There may be a feeling though of wanting not to put undue pressure on the mods.
>>90162>We need counter-art and counter-memes >This will be nothing less than a war of propaganda; one side of the fandom against another>implying the odds don't favor us thereSeriously, this is what we do. If this board can't beat SJW My Little Pony fans on Tumblr in a meme war it doesn't deserve to exist.
>>90331We don't want to just beat them, we want to tear out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our meme-tanks!
I'm just saying we should stock up on memes and tools so that we can blow them out of the water, no contest.
Was getting to page 5 part of your master plan?
>>91648In a way, yes it was. I hoped that folks here would pick up the idea and run with it. Since that is not the case I will elaborate and expand on some of my thoughts.
What I originally imagined was a synthesized micro gamergate focusing on mlp utilizing the leftist press. The idea was to convince the leftist media that not only was mlp secretly creating Nazis, but was also boycott worthy. This is important as the majority of mlp fans are not terribly political, and would see this as a baseless attack on what they love. This baseless attack would warrant a response that would cause some very interesting fireworks. Right wingers would also join in, mocking the left for taking such a stupid position. Since the right would join in, communists and SJW’s would defend the indefensible positions being taken and get blown the fuck out in the process. By the time our involvement becomes known it will be too late. The left will be on the run, and the right will become more prevalent in mlp as a community than what it was. Furthermore, more people will hear about mlpol and come here wondering what it is all about. The rewards for this successful operation would be keks, BTFO commies, a more active mlpol.net, and the creation of future possibilities I will elaborate on latter.
>>93077To succeed in this plan, there are 5 phases that must be considered. The first stage is the bombardment phase. The second phase is the assault stage. The third phase is the dog pile phase. The fourth phase in the bait and switch phase. The fifth phase is the observation phase.
The bombardment phase would be an email campaign to traditional media, alternative media (i.e. youtubers), and retailers. The emails should not be from obvious troll emails like
[email protected] but rather plausibly real email addresses. The emails should include concern that the sale of mlp toys is helping to create Nazis. Possible examples include
>mlp is racist because it segregates zebras, a symbolization for blacks from society, and gives them racist accents>mlp is sexist because mares can’t join the army, (All male guard).>mlp is anti-democracy because it has an authoritarian leader of the country. (Bonus points for comparing Celestia to Trump). >mlp is anti-Semitic because it discriminates against griffins, which are Jews. Oy vey. >mlp is anti-equality because Starlight Glimmer is a hateful characterization of communism. >Men have kicked women out of a female only space, and that is hate or something.>ETCThis phase would succeed if an article or video is made regarding mlp being right wing. We should then proceed to stage 3.
If nothing happens in several days then this phase is considered failed. It is still useful though, as it plants the seeds for phase 2.
>>93078The Assault phase would include picking several easily triggered targets on social media (Twitter), and posing right wing ponies. If the leftists are dragging there ass in declaring mlp Nazi, then the onus falls on us to make them declare it so. Toss out red pills, post friendship windmills, and overall talk about how mlp made you realize that friendship is fascist. Bait them hard.
Success is determined by one or some of them taking the bait. Proceed to stage 3.
If no one takes the bait after some time retreat. Observe their reactions and adapt the plan.
>>93079The dog pile phase is exactly as it sounds, dog pile the leftist fuckers with ponies. Social media is the battleground. Make them rage, and make them denounce ponies. If they don’t start a petition make an account and post one ourselves. Drive them to saying stupid shit and to sign that petition. The idea is give them oxygen and to grow. The more that join in, the larger their fall shall be. This stage is a reward in itself, have some fun!
If they don’t take the bait or mass block us, whatever. Take note of future lolcows and pull back. If the Fire has no air, it can’t burn them, us, or the mlp fandom.
>>93080In the bait and switch stage we must commit to an orderly fighting retreat.. Why the retreat? A retreat must be made for two reasons. The first is that mlpol cannot win a true internet war on its own. We lack the numbers to win any sustained offensive. The second reason is that remaining provides ammunition to the leftists. We want the left to get beaten to a pulp, not win. Stop posting, and delete posts if you feel so inclined. Instead, focus on alerting large conservative accounts and large mlp accounts. Make them see the madness being spewed by the communists, and watch them respond. The leftists will be completely overwhelmed but will dig in, as is there nature. Unfortunately for the leftists, they will dig in on the low ground while getting bombarded by angry pony lovers backed by conservatives laughing at it all. It will be a beautiful slaughter to witness.
>>93081The last phase is the observation phase. If you notice anyone that is particularly far right, invite them here. If you see anyone sperging out very hard, take note of the new lolcow and post pictures here. For the most part though all you ought to do is sit back and watch the fireworks. We have won at this phase, regardless of the outcome. If this gets big enough though, we can initiate secret phase 6.
>>93082The secret phase is the homecoming phase. If this gets big undoubtedly 4/pol/ will pick up on it, maybe even /mlp/. We then take the opportunity to give our former home a warm and very pony hello.
>>93077>>93078>>93079>>93080>>93081Sounds like we need clear targets. We need to know our enemies if we want clear coordination.
>>93090HuffPo, Slate, Salon, and Washinton Post writers may be a good target. If a proper plan is made, I have access to the press list for the company I work for. It is mostly state news not national, but it would accomplish the same objectives.
Beautiful.
What's our first target?
Don't bring up Jews=Griffons, focus on blacks=zebras and communism=glimmerism. Liberals kinda care about jews, but mainly want "Their own" communism and blacks to be defended from all criticism.
>>93098Waiting for some more discussion before going forward.
>>90181 might be some good targets eventually.
>>93099You might be right. Leftists do like Jews a lot though. Maybe Griffons=Spics? Either way, The focus on zebras may be optimal.
I am interested in this idea. Can't wait for the asspain and headaches of those that doubted the existence of a well-oiled political ideology.
Sounds like we got a good idea on how to trigger the libtards, but I think we should cover all bases and get the conservatives involved as well. And it wouldn’t be manipulative because there is a legit communist horse trying to take over the show. I think it would make sense. After all, what better way to make a leftist look bad then by having them shout obscenities about politics in a cartoon
>>94124I just turned about 7 T_D users into bronies by showing them the Our Town song with a provocative clickbaity "Where were you when a children's cartoon BTFOd communism with one song?" title.
>>94127Excellent, this operation might go without a hitch. Even if fox cover Nazi ponies before, perhaps we should keep /mlpol/ tags off of posts. If we can remain hush hush about this site during and after the shit show, the better
>>94131What? There are a lot of people on that site. And no, I definitely didn't direct them here.
This "Leddit is cancer because they love Donald too much and they aren't true 4channers like us" shouldn't be taken too far. Sure, we can exclude them from our seekrit club so we can discuss things, but T_D is a stepping stone on the path to becoming redpilled.
>>94134reddit is cancer because it's reddit, there's any number of issues with the users of that site
>>94136^^^^^^^^ this post, everything wrong with reddit are all branch offs of the root problem. Upvote culture, if you go against the grain then you’re public enemy #1
>>94127>Going on T_D everThe thing that made me first fall in love with /mlpol/ was the absence of plebbit. Please don't bring them here.
>>94138i'd say usernames are the root problem, voting and points wouldn't work without them
>>94143Fair enough but I wouldn’t have known that cause I don’t visit reddit
>>94143I'm inclined to agree. Reddit is maybe a notch or two above normie social media because you're not required to tie your IRL identity to your online persona, but it still requires you to establish a name and identity for yourself on the website. "Reputation" is fundamentally tied to that identity and it creates a circlejerk culture where people are more concerned with being praised for rightthink than making substantial contributions to discussions.
>>94134I'm actually inclined to agree with this as well. I certainly don't want T_D coming here, but in order for our movement to make a difference we need people, and to make that happen you need gateway communities like Reddit even if they are cancerous.
>>94144i don't either but there are a lot of similar sites, i go on voat.co sometimes it's markedly better in a lot of ways but everyone has a name and a history you can know who someone is, it's not inherently a bad thing some people are worth knowing like awoo, ebin, nep, and the mods here but generally it leads to a lot of attention whoring, petty disputes, and unnecessary drama. They do have anonymous boards there too interestingly enough but they don't get much use.
>>94146reddit is normie social media tbh, i agree that we need to do more recruiting and get attention but there are better places than reddit
Wasn't the reason why /Mlpol/ exist is to Physically Remove Reddit.
>>94163
there is soo much fail in this post, delet please.
